  1. Stepped into this brunch adventure hoping for a taste bud fiesta. I ordered the French toast with fried chicken, side of eggs and a latte. My French toast strutted in like a star, stealing the show with its buttery goodness. But hold the applause! The fried chicken seemed like it needed a motivational speech or something – it was blander than a math lecture.

When my oat milk latte sashayed over, the burnt bean scent did a dramatic monologue, and the scalding mug nearly gave me a free facial sauna. I had to wait longer than it takes to grow a bonsai tree just to avoid mouth burn.

The eggs – let’s just say they arrived in a wet situation that made me contemplate starting a rescue mission. But alas, they tasted like they’d been involved in a metal concert, leaving me canceling their encore.

As for the coffee, when it finally cooled down, it whispered tales of burnt beans that I wish I hadn’t heard. Service was friendly, but the ambiance lacked that cozy ‘group hug’ feeling. The view by the lake was stunning, but when it came to quality, it was like expecting a Michelin star and getting a participation trophy.

  2. We hosted a client dinner at Water’s Table on January 17, 2024. From the initial inquiry to follow up after our event, the service was exceptional. The team helped us coordinate flower arrangements, room set up and a custom menu design. Rob Miller was outstanding. His communication was so prompt and the level of service he provided was truly next level. Thank you to the team! We will definitely be back.

  3. We had an enjoyable evening with delicious small plates. We opted for the crab cakes, roasted Brussel sprouts and truffle macaroni & cheese. Each of these were done right and I think the best crab cake I have had in awhile. Those brussel sprouts were truly out of this world. The views are just gorgeous. Loved it all. The service person was the best too. I wish I could remember his name. Sept 12 main dining room. He was so attentive and very courteous. Highly recommend

  4. Walked up to the podium and no one was there. Got seated with no issues. Reservation is recommended and they have a great bar. Staff was kind and the manager was nice. Thanks for the great service I hope you have me back and maybe I’ll give you five stars the next time. There were parts of the restaurant that weren’t very clean. I hope to get dessert next time. Please invite me back.

  5. Met with friends I hadn’t seen in 20+ years and requested a table with a view when I made the reservation and was happy to be seated with lake views. Even though the hotel lobby was busy with families, and I think a cheer squad that was practicing, the restaurant was cozy and was about a medium in noise level. We ordered the crab cakes, which were excellent. I ordered the scallops for dinner, and my meal was delicious and the presentation was also nice. I had the lemon panacotta for dessert, which was also very good, as well as the decaf coffee, although I’ll admit, the coffee had a little bit of that burnt taste I’d read in other reviews. We really enjoyed the food and drinks overall and catching up was the best part. It was nice that they let us sit and chat in the restaurant until late on a Friday night instead of trying to rush us out. Great place to meet friends and dine and will definitely go again.
