Excellent service, super friendly and great atmosphere. Food is top notch! Best Poutine! Best porterhouse! LARGE portions! Next time we will share! lol! Highly recommend! Will be back! Pics do not do the food justice! Huge!

This place is an absolute gem! It’s always packed, so expect a wait. The bar is first come first serve, so you can often snag a spot there more quickly. We visited for our second time this weekend and loved it just as much as the first time. The “dirty birdys” wings are my favorite! I also love the steak tips + mac and cheese. The service is always great – this weekend Nicole at the bar was non stop but she never missed a beat. We can’t wait to go back.

Excellent food, generous portions, and good service. We got a table near a fireplace, and our waitress was great! We got a cozy table near a fireplace. We enjoyed the steakhouse onion soup, fried cheese curds, bison tips, and Texas meatloaf, all of which were delicious. Free parking.

Why did I not know about this place!!?? If you haven’t gone, you are missing out on one of The Best Experiences ever! From the time we entered till the time we left, every experience was positive 🙂 We sat at the bar. Our waiter was excellent, he made suggestions and we were delighted with the outcome. It happened to be Monday night which meant, BOGO lobster roll. Of course, we went with the 1/2 lb warm! Piles and piles of lobster meat! We also went with The Butcher Block, a chance to try a little of everything from Steak tips ( moist, tender, melt in your mouth!), ribs ( fall off the bone and succulent bbq sauce), and grilled chicken ( tender, juicy and oh so good!). The sides were good also. We had steak fries, Mac n cheese, and Mexican corn. Excellent service, food, and experience. Definitely will go back again!

If you’ve never eaten at the Tuckaway Tavern, you haven’t lived yet. The Tuckaway is a staple and every time we have visitors come to town we have to bring them to try the best food of their life. We have gone so many times that we have a dedicated food lineup we order every time. Our favorites include the Rooster Balls, Dirty Bird wings, steak tips (Black Forest style), the lobster roll, and the blue balls to finish. Also the street corn is our favorite side!
The wait is always long so be prepared, but it’s always worth it. You can find a seat at the bar if you’re a small group, but it takes patience.
