The Armory NJ

Stopped in after church for lunch and wasn’t disappointed.
I enjoyed the Armory Fried Calamari with a little kick of spice, and a delicious Mariscada in red sauce with a side of rice. We also had the Portuguese Sausage, and Salted Cod. For dessert a delicious creme Brule!

I’m not a fan of the food here. The seafood is largely overcooked and very bland, which is pretty disappointing, especially considering the price of the food. One the positive side, the view is nice, there is an outdoor bar which is kind of cool and the sangria is pretty good. That’s about all this place has going for it.

The food here at Armory is so good!! Their calamari is the best I’ve ever had. Ordered surf and turf with a 12oz. Angus Filet Mignon served with drawn butter. The rack of lamb with Rosemary & served with roasted potatoes is also a good choice ?. AYCE Rodizio with white Sangrias. Grilled ? and chocolate lava cake ?. Too full with all the food but dessert is a must, the flan pudding and chocolate lava cake yummy ?. Great service too!

Be careful for check – they automatically charging 20% gratuity, than asking You again for additional tip.
Good choice if seafood.
Delicious cocktails – but they are almost no alcohol. Nice location and sea breeze.

Had attended a Christmas Party here. Food was good along with the Sangria. I will be going back for dinner. So I went back for lunch and enjoyed a Portuguese style steak and my wife had chicken Marsalis. We both left full and happy. Outstanding place
