Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill

First time here, but I enjoyed it. Love the fresh strawberry jam they bring out with the biscuits. The steak egg rolls are GREAT. I also had the lobster roll and it was okay, it lacked flavor and the lobster meat was over cooked and pretty expensive for the amount of lobster. could taste the bread more than the lobster. The grits are good as well.. service is great, my waitress was very sweet

We went to Stoney River to celebrate my wife’s birthday on the recommendation from my sister. Reservations were very easy through Resy and there were no problems getting seated. Restaurant is upscale with a large wine selection although we do not drink but for those who do I am sure they have something for your taste. I ordered the prime rib as did my son, wife had the coffee crusted filet. Sides included whipped garlic potatoes for our son, roasted red potatoes for me and twice-baked potato for my wife. We shared the house salad with herb vinaigrette as it was a BIG salad! A nice in-house baked slice of chocolate cake was enjoyed for dessert.
All the food was delicious and prepared perfectly. Abundant flavor and prime rib was tender and had a side of raw horseradish with it. Server was prompt and personable but did not hover. We like that. Meal was somewhat pricey but we knew it would be going in. All in all well worth the money and travel time to get there. We will add Stoney River to our list of “special occasion” dining spots in the future. Great job Stoney River!

This is my first dining experience with stony River. Met for a Christmas dinner. Ambience is beautiful. They have a full bar. Seating was comfortable. Service was 7/10. The waiter appeared to be distracted. It was nice to see managers on the floor assisting with service.

Really enjoyed the food. We tried the wild mushroom meatloaf and the cowboys steak. Both seasoned well & the mashed potatoes were delicious. The asparagus needed more seasoning and it was cold.

With the distractions in service and cold asparagus and having to box my leftovers my overall rating 6/10. I will go back one more time. The pricing on the menu was appealing. Hoping they will put the crème brûlée back on the menu. I was very disappointed They did not have it for the holidays.

Very nice atmosphere, dimly lit. Lots of wine selections and signature drinks. We both ordered steaks, which I rarely do at any restaurant. We both agreed that they were just OK for the above average price, not bad. The sides (which cost extra) were good, large portions. The best part was the appetizer and dessert. Whisky shrimp on country toast and the Creme Brûlée for dessert was excellent. The sauce for the 4 shrimp and toast was amazing. The table across from us ordered the carrot cake- the serving was HUGE. It was good but not good enough to make us go back.

It was our 11th Wedding Anniversary and I surprised my husband. Truthfully it was our first time at this restaurant. My beautiful neice Nicole recommended we try it after all her pics of her food and bragging about it, lol, I thought it would be the perfect spot to celebrate ? our anniversary ? memories we will cherish ❤
