Pizzeria Lola

Very good Pizza Restaurant, definitely Italian style.
We had as a starter the Roasted Cauliflower and as main the Tavern, the Iowan and the Hawaii Pie. Everything was just amazing ?
Service was outstanding. The only negative point was the loud music, but this was minor.
Highly recommended restaurant. Will join my favorite list on Google ?

Lola is without question our favorite pizza place in the city. The crust, sauce, and ingredients are on point every time. The staff is friendly and easy going, but very efficient and always there at just the right times. This is another one that I can’t believe it took me this long to review. We’ve been hooked on Lola since not long after they opened and they’re only getting better with time.

I love the Lady Zaza and BBQ Korean pizza. They both are pizzas that are out of this world. Pizzas are designed to be per person. Quality is exceptional and the wood fire copper encased oven is beautiful.

You get a good sense that the employees are trained well and work well together. I truly think they work hard to ensure customers are happy. It’s not just pizza… it’s food artistry and an experience carefully designed. Staff is friendly and helpful.

They also have great choices of beers. I forget what I had but it was a recommendation by the server and it was very good.

I would recommend this place for a romantic setting, date or a place to go out to But Not as a pizza connoisseur the pizzas are not large, the dough does not rise. The flavor is fine but the dough and crust gets overly cooked due to the heat of the open flame fire.
You DO want to make a reservation ahead of time, we showed up without one and were told there was an hour plus wait, we drove off with our name on the waitlist, they sent a text when they have a table for you & then we drove back, just so you know I’m not complaining; simply informing – good for them! post covid a resturant has heavy business!

The prices are in range with what you would expect from and fancy pizzaria.
There is a kids coloring page with crayons, highchairs, kids water cup lids and I saw many family’s dinning with various aged younger kids.
There is plenty of street parking, if you’re willing to walk 100 to 150 feet, there is no problem getting a space and walk off a couple calories your consuming.
They have desert, like ice cream.

Food was TOPS. We came from Illinois to experience Lola after seeing it on Netflix and couldn’t be more impressed. The flavors were OUTSTANDING. Thank you for such amazing food- the cooks did great, the presentations were gorgeous and we were all so moved by each and every bite.

Service was mid.. our server was very polite and wonderfully attentive BUT forgot about what she was doing for us a couple times and other servers came in to cover for her. The restaurant was not busy at this point as it was only 430pm on a tuesday.
She seemed a little in her own world.

I cant wait to come back!!
