Management University of East Westphalia-Lippe

I personally like the TH-OWL, but especially some professors in the Masters of Information Technology do not seem to want the students to understand them/the topic. No proper english, and subjects like DSS, where no practical application is explained. As well as exams that are completely abstract and not duable without previously studying electrical engineering hinder you from passing your Masters.

Awesome place to study

I had a friend who went to this university. Catastrophe, she was one of the most joyful people I knew. After and during her studies she struggled with depression, not because of the university in general but because of the hellish courses. Do you want to give the students depression or what a real shame. This university led to her having to see a therapist. I would never recommend this university to anyone unless you love the feeling of killing yourself

The university shows a clear inequality in the care of students. While some professors work hard for their students and enable them to excel, there are unfortunately cases in which students feel like they are being intentionally hindered in their studies. The presence of racist practices among certain professors who teach 5 to 8 modules in the field of pharmaceutical engineering is extremely worrying. Thorough review and appropriate action are required to ensure that the college provides an inclusive and equitable learning environment.
