Ippys Hawaiian BBQ Waimea

Go here!!! It was by far our favorite food we’ve had on the island, and it was only $15 for the mixed plate. We all got different kinds of meat with our mixed plates and loved them. The Mac salad was great too. Also our server, a young lady with tattoos, was very friendly and helpful

What a great local place. The food was super tasty and abundant. After atmosphere was charming and interesting. The young lady serving us behind the counter with a tattoos (I’m sorry I didn’t get your name) was absolutely lovely. She made us feel right at home and made our new love for Waimea even stronger. Almost wish we were staying another day just to go back and eat again.

Great experience. We were looking for something local for lunch and found Ippys. We were not disappointed.
They had a nice menu with burgers and sandwiches in addition to their barbecue items. It was hard to pick so I went with the two meat plate. It came with a generous portion of meat, salad and coleslaw.
The staff was very helpful in explaining everything and very patient while we decided what to get.
The food was outstanding. I got the pork belly and daily meat special while Kathy got the chicken and pulled pork. All were very flavorful and the plate was very filling.
I am glad we found this local treasure.

Better than expected! Fair prices for large portions. All super tasty! 2 complaints: bathroom outside and no desserts! 🙂
