  1. Fortune House Lunch Smorg offers a satisfying dining experience with its diverse array of Chinese and alternating daily choices. The quality of the food exceeds expectations, with fresh ingredients and flavors that are very enjoyable. While some dishes stand out more than others, overall, it’s a very pleasant culinary experience.

  2. I arrived at the Fortune House 10 minutes before their posted closing time on Thursday night. I was flying out the next morning at 5:10 AM and I had not eaten any dinner. When I walked in they were closing up, chairs were stacked on tables and they were cleaning the floor. I looked at them and I asked if I could still come in. The owner looked at the staff and without hesitation they invited me in. After admiring the menu, I decided to have the veggie lo Mein and a spring roll. I was shocked at the portion size. For the price I was paying I still can not believe how much food they brought me. This meal was delicious and filling. I doubted myself at first, but I could not stop eating it. I ended up vanquishing the plate, which kept me satisfied until I landed in Vancouver the following morning. Thank you to the staff for staying late to feed me.

  3. The best Chinese restaurant in Whitehorse hands down!
Whenever I crave for HK food, this restaurant is my first choice.
Grew up in Vancouver, been to HK numerous times, I became picky with Cantonese dishes.
Their Cantonese style fried noodles is a must try dish, and don’t forget to ask for the specials.
They have special dishes on weekly basis.

  4. The food used to be good. Over the past year, ownership has changed and it is not the same food we’re use to. We got a family order for delivery. The food was soggy and tasted like it was microwaved from lunch from the day before. I called to explain and the woman said food same everyday soooo good. I explained that the food was not great and asked what they could do as it was unpleasant to eat and she hung up. We certainly won’t be going back. SAVE YOUR MONEY. DONT EAT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Ok we had 2 dishes. Cantonese chowmein and chicken with blackean sauce. It looked delicious until you chew the chicken in both dishes. It was fowl or hem. It was not fresh chicken. I honestly could not chew it. Anyone who eats good Chinese knows they soak their chicken in backing soda or powder then rinse them they get a beautiful tender chicken. For the price they are asking is it too much to cook the food properly. I will never go there again. Takes a lot for me to complain. Quit taking short cuts
