Double T Diner

Great diner atmosphere, good food, generous portions, lively hard-working staff. Nice place for breakfast and lunch to meet with friends for a long chat. Needs more Gluten Free options as they no longer have a gluten free bread or roll option so that severely limits my choices. The staff is unfamiliar with some food allergies, but do try very hard to accommodate when explained.

Pasadena Mountain Road! We’re regulars here and we love everything about this restaurant! First, it’s super clean and the staff is amazing. Even when busy you always get a nice hello. Great servers! And the food! You can’t go wrong. I usually get a farmers omelette or the grilled turkey panini with oven browns potatoes (shown) which is an amazing sandwich. Coffee and tea are excellent too. Everything is freshly prepared and delicious. If you go on Easter or Mother’s Day you get FREE CAKE. Thank you Double T for everything you do!

It had been several years since I last visited this quiet little diner. It offers a vast menu. I like to keep it simple. Cheese omelet, grits and turkey sausage. Not bad. My party and I enjoyed our meals, but were a little disappointed to hear that military discounts are applied to checks after 11am. As you could imagine we left closer to 1030 am just missing out on the discount. I don’t want to complain because it’s always great that community businesses recognize and appreciate the military by offering a discount, so Thank you. I, however, think that if you offer one it should stand without a time window. It’s like saying thank you for your service, but not before 11am. Maybe next time we visit we’ll be sure to do so in the afternoon. We’ll see.

Our food was good, but unremarkable. Our server was nice and did a good job. We don’t eat out much since the pandemic, but when we do I’m much more aware of the cleanliness of the restaurant. I was disappointed to find a coffee stain on our table (we didn’t have coffee) which makes me wonder how clean the rest of it was. Mistakes happen, I get it, I’m just more particular in a pandemic.

I used to go to the Double T all the time, but stopped going because of the service and food. After several years, I decided to try again. What a difference!!! The food was excellent. The service was great. Even the coffee was better. I was having a pretty rough day and this meal just cheered me up. I am glad I went. Highly recommend to others.
