Bulgogi House

Both the chicken and beef bulgogi dinner meal was delicious. Meat melts in your mouth. The vegetable side dishes surprised me with their flavors.

Amazing place to grab food and one of the closest to authentic Korean food in the area. After being in Korea for a bit I wanted to get back to some of the food and this place does it so well. I love the food here and the staff, while they don’t have many is super friendly and accommodating.

After trying basically all of the Korean restaurants in Saint Louis, MO, Springfield, MO, and the surrounding areas, Bulgogi House is truly the best, most authentic Korean restaurant you will eat at.

Some of these low reviews I’ve seen for this place are those one unfortunate time situations. They are low staffed, it’s just the owner and two kitchen ladies.
So naturally after busy rush hours, the tables are going to be left dirty to accommodate for the service of new customers.

But you seriously cannot go wrong with the food here. It tastes better than most Korean restaurants I’ve been at in both Korea and the states. I would know because I am Korean.

They give you a ton of food and you’ll get unlimited side dishes without extra cost. The rice I believe is an extra $1 for more.

I am going to miss this place when we PCS! Check out all of the dishes I posted here over the course of 4 years since I’ve been here. I’ve gone to all of the other Korean restaurants and they cannot compare.

PLUS, Bulgogi House takes card and not only cash like Cafe Korea and Koba do.

Wow. Just amazing authentic Korean food. I’m so glad I got to eat here. Was only one time as I’m not from this area but so good. There was a soup with noodles and rice cake that was good plus the bulgogi was really good. Please know that spicy means very very very spicy at least to me and I can do some spicy. I do wish there was like yum-yum sauce to add to the not spicy to make it a little spicy on our own

Bibim bap. #31. That’s really all you need to know, though my husband did enjoy the seafood soup. If you’re banking for some Korean home cooking, this is the place for you. So tasty and large servings. It’s in a strip mall so there’s plenty of parking. We went in a weeknight so it wasn’t very crowded. Friendly staff as well. Recommend.
