  1. A great neighborhood joint with great food, family owned focused service, love music (as scheduled). Cole slaw is excellent, fried okra how I like it. Ribs look amazing as I wait for them! And, just ordered a smoked turkey for Thanksgiving! Food is great. Owners are great. Sauces are great! By the way, the ribs were smoked and amazing! Great night

  2. I’m not sure if they had an off day. It is skip this one at all costs. The waitress was horrible. Argued with me about what I ordered. I ordered brisket and cornbread. About 25 minutes later, the brisket comes out and they say we only have chopped. Wow. It was over cooked and dry. My buddy had the ribs and they were decent. The corn bread was good as was the Mac and cheese.
The bill comes and it’s wrong. They fix it and my buddy is going to sign it, he tells the girl and she says I need the pen for an order. I’m thinking what??? You have one pen in the entire place???
    Nope is the simple answer.

  3. My wife and I had a wonderful time here. The owner and his wife were very kind to us, and the food was absolutely top notch. We were treated to a couple of jazz tunes the owner played on the keys, and he invited us to play a little as well (we are both musicians).

The meat was tender and flavorful (we tried just about every kind they had, and brought some home for the kiddos). The corn bread was sweet and moist. The sauces were great too! We will be back!

The owner says they typically have live music on Fridays and Saturdays (we were here on a Wednesday during a Suns game, so it was kinda quiet).

  4. Smoked Bratwurst Bites, BBKing Sandwich, and the Sliders, oh yes, very good. On Thursday, there’s a group of gentlemen who play music; one plays the harmonicas, and I do mean harmonicas. When I go back to Arizona for business and I’m in that area, definitely going back.

  5. The owner was a professional Blues pianist and sometimes plays the Grand piano inside. Fun. We have abandoned all other BBQ spots as their BBQ is so good. I worship the French fries. They have great sliders. I favor the pulled pork. My wife really likes the brisket. On Thursday nights a couple of pretty skilled retired harmonica players show up. They are good and it is a bit nastolgic. Several adult beverages are available.
