You should only brush your teeth
Okay, so I’m trying to figure out the absolute bare minimum when it comes to dental hygiene. I’m…let’s just say I’m really, really pressed for time lately. Like, showering is a luxury I only get every other day. So, flossing, mouthwash, all that extra stuff? Forget about it.
My question is: if I only do one thing, what should it be? And WHY? Is it really okay to just brush my teeth? What are the worst things that will happen if I don’t floss or use mouthwash? I’m mostly concerned about cavities and, like, my breath smelling terrible. Also, how long should I at least brush for? 30 seconds? A minute? Two? And does it matter what kind of toothpaste I use if I’m only brushing? Like, is there a special toothpaste that will make up for not doing the other stuff?
