1. 715 restaurant, located on Massachusetts street, is a charming gem that offers a delightful dining experience. The only downside might be the limited meter parking on the street, so arriving early is recommended to secure a spot.
One of the highlights of 715 is its lovely and cozy outdoor area, perfect for enjoying a meal in beautiful weather. During our visit, the weather was just right, and it added to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience.
The service at 715 restaurant was pleasant, with attentive staff ready to assist and accommodate our needs throughout the meal.
The menu predominantly revolves around Italian cuisine, offering a variety of classic dishes. While the food tasted good, it was admittedly at an average level, leaving us hoping for a bit more excitement in the flavors.
Similarly, the presentation of the dishes was also average, lacking the wow factor we were expecting. However, the taste and presentation did not detract significantly from the overall dining experience.
We decided to try the dry vodka martinis, and they packed a punch with their strength. However, at $16 per martini, we did feel that the size was a bit on the smaller side, making it a pricier choice.
Speaking of prices, the entry point for dishes on the menu starts at $20 and goes up from there. While it might not be the most budget-friendly option, the portion sizes do make up for it, as they are generously large.

  2. The atmosphere was okay it’s just a little tight in seating. When it came to order, the menu was little bit hard to understand being a Kansan we want straight get to the point what going in my stomach .. not let’s try to figure out what that’s even called .. the food was good but just kinda narrow down on selection of food or courses , maybe some more meat on the menu , especially on the weekends! Also when it comes to training your waitress or waiters they should be able to try all the foods that are gonna be on the menu or at least know what’s the ingredients or what it’s taste like at least ! Our waitress didn’t know and we even asked what she preferred but yet she didn’t know. Overall good experience just little flaws.

  3. Quite possibly the best food I’ve ever had in my life. The lamb was incredibly flavorful, the focaccia was fresh, even the charcuterie was better than most things I’ve eaten. And the chocolate ganache cake was insane.

It was definitely expensive, but I’d eat here every day if I had the money.

  4. I can’t count how many times I’ve been 715 since I moved to Lawrence. Before Covid I feel they are not very stable quality, so I don’t really go often. However since 2023 I think they do very great job, foods delicious, drinks are good too. I really recommend the lollipop lamb, and the Gnocchi. The only thing that disappointed me is the service. The lady who serve us seems not really no what she’s doing, she took more time than other server to back to us, never ask how we feel about the foods, also whenever we call her to order something she seems impatient with us. For the high quality restaurant like this I except some more immediate services and at least not “okay what you guys want I am not interested in” attitude.
